SUNNY DAY!

Aloha. What a beautiFULL sunny day. I enjoyed my weekly trip down o perran with syster friend and her dad. Leg is definitly getting stronger and stronger. It felt time to feel my way into a few days on juice. The body is ready now to clear out the medic crudd that has had to invade it. Interesting that I never get headaches now when I juice feast! But this time I got a hum dinger of a head ache after the first day! So body obviously clearing stuff out. I am just listening for inner guidance around timing - Today is the fourth day - but I am conscious that body is also in a mode of 'building' so I wont explore too many days. I feel my body will let me know when it has cleared out the toxicity. Then in a couple of months I will do another longer juice feast to make sure that I clear deeper stuff out too.

I have to say its almost been easier just juicing rather than faffing around getting any kind of meals together.

I am hoping that come next week, after consultation session as hossie, I might? be okay for driving at least just down to perran. Once I have the okay (and I feel I have given myself that already!) I will move towards some more definite physiotherapy. I want the best potenial movement ever without stressing body :)

Wow as I am sitting here, the sun is shining through the hanging crystals and I have my first dancing rainbows in the living room for this year!! Magick.

The mornings are already getting lighter and evenings seem even more noticable lighter. I feel a little unplugged from my temple of nature at present, although I have been out most days to just ground with the earth. The ground is still quite soft and crutches seem to squelch down and then get muddy. I have been out twice a day walking - but its not the same as just attuning in with the resonance out there.

I have definilty decided that the current design of crutches is NOT optimal and I am sure they could do with an update. The rubber feet are quite slippy, They get mud in all the crevices - They fall over really easily if they are stood up - and they look a bit boring too.! I am not quite sure if my £20 fee was a purchase or a hire fee? otherwise I would have painted them purple and tied coloured ribbons on them :) - They seem designed for smooth pavement trotting, not rural lane and mud negotiation :)

Have a bliss day everyone. Ah... my rainbows have stopped dancing as a huge loom of darkness has descended. Gosh. postman just been too - thats early - Mostly out post comes around 3pm nowadays. Gone are the days of early morning posties.!!

Awh! and after hennaring my hair a bit back with somewhat shocking results! too red for Ruthie. I decided to go back and start again. As it just wont wash out and I was having the dilemma of tinting it or just having it look wierd.. I dont want to indulge in hair maintenance - so a hair 'cut'wasnt a choice. So I got it clipped of at no.3!! Its a tad severe - but already growing. and with new moon and spring energy I am sure it wont take long. I just like letting my hair be as it is, long, grey and mine.

Very silly move to even think into hennaring it!!

Its a bit chilly now. and I am needing to wear a hat !! to keep head and neck warm :) x

This gorgeous photo was on the above site - a lovely blog about bedtime intimacy with mum and baby.

I felt blessed in being a firey leo child. My dad was also leo! and very vibrantly smiley and playful. I was the first of three girls, so I was fresh and new and every expression of my unfolding was celebrated and witnessed. I was the only child for five years! till my first sister arrived.
I remember my mum being more functionable and being more present when I was a babe in arms whilst my dad was far more 'available' when I was lapable and readable to and when I painted and drew pictures. My dad, being of italian birth knew how to laugh and play - He was colourful!
I always feel a sadness when I encounter families who are sombre and lacking in an intimacy of communion with each other and even more so when this can be witnessed with their grandchildren also!
Families matter - Truth, communication, loving and feeling affection and celebration create grown up children who can also love and play with their families and so the circle of love grows and evolves.
To me 'warmth, colour, smiles and comfortable laps and lullaby are what makes good loving grown ups who can twirl and whirl with life and appreciation.

We are an expression of the Creative Force - We are not separate from the Source - we are connected to the Force of Creation through our breath, we dance with the Force of Creation in the Temple of Nature.

The bodies in which we live are nourished by the Force of Creation in the foods given to us by Mother Earth.

The life Energy moves within us and we experience it's presence in the myriad of feeings and sensations we encounter each day. Energy moves, feelings make themselves known to us. The mind interprets the feelings, and we emotionally respond as has been our life's pattern.

We have been used to either expressing or suppressing our emotional responses.

Often today, we are encouraged to express, we are advised not to suppress. Expression does not negate the experience, it just releases some of the turbulence temporarily. That's why people become addicted to work shops and constantly talking about their problems. There is a third way, there is a third option and that is observation. To be in witness consciousness and watch the movement within.

Firstly when you feel overwhelmed with emotion, just stop and notice what has happened to the flow of breath - begin to take your breath right into the sensations in your body and to thoughts in your mind. Feel as though your breath is like a torch - each time you breathe feel as though the light of awareness is disempowering the turbulent hold of emotional response. Remember emotions drain our energy. You won't be denying the emotion, You are not suppressing it. You are breathing into it.

Then begin to relax your whole body - notice any areas where you might be holding the tension. Let out a big sigh from that part of your body. Feel the breath going right in amongst the tensions that you might encounter in your body and let go and watch. And then start to observe what you are feeling.

Feel the sensations in your body. Feel the emotion. Just trust what is happeningJust feel what is present, And the emotion will soften its hold. You will begin to realise that the emotion has been your 'minds response' to the energies moving through you. As you continue to live life alive making optimal life choices in all expressions You will feel a blossoming into spaciousness, fearlessness and abundance as your body attunes to its default programming of Wellness.

There are many portals from which we can 'plug in' to the Creative Life Force. Breath is the key portal along with powers of the cosmic forces coming to us through the sun, the planets and the elemental beings. For me - all these portals opening into intimacy of communion with the Creative Life Force are expressions of prayer.

Prayer is Sacred - an unfolding flow of life - Our lives are our prayer. Lets pray, lets live life alive in communion with Source. Namaste Love Ruthie

I have just delighted in reading the first 2012 Mother magazine. The cover is such a twirly whirly medicine! for early January. One of the best ever I feel. I just love how the photo has captured this sweet young goddess in her glee.
The first read - written by Veronika Robinson (goddess editor) is called Cauldron of Community. Amazing title that fully embraces the essence of the Mother magazine!
The divine pics of the newly birthed twins on page 11 warmed my heart! and Sara Simons article on Spirituality and Breast feeding invited me into a deeper feeling of the lovely lady/seeker/and empowered syster Sara is.

SUNNY

Wow its gloriously sunny, blue skies, no wind, I got out on my own and walked up beyond Llama Farm. Also can stand at sink leaning, without crutches, and did some washing up!!
Its early days - and in a wierd way, the more I feel lighter and brighter, the more I am meeting more and more limitations!!
Today is one of those bliss early year days where I would have pottered in the garden! Couldnt even bend down to cut chives which are thriving.
Such a wonderful feel to have this 'light' after so many days of relative full cover cloud and dampness.
Getting socks on is a non starter, so I just went bare foot in sandals and it was quite tolerable.
I got some wonderful bamboo leggings in late november, and I havent really been able to wear them.!
Enjoy this wonderful day and ongoing thanks to all of you. I had a friends dad around yesterday, with a very easy to get into car and they drove me down perran for two laps around the duck pond!!

Just found this photo of the Medicine Wheel Circle when it was first completed, it has 'settled' in since its creation!, and feels more part of the garden!!

I didnt have a circle fire last evening and

I didnt even have my crystals out under the first full moon of 2012!

This morning a dear friend and her dad (who has a get in and out of friendly car) came and took Ruthie down to Perran Duck Pond. Bless them! it was sunny, mild, a beautiful day. I crutched twice!! :) around the pond.

Each day does feel brighter, but the better I am feeling, the more challanged I feel around my body been so limited in movement!!

It will be three weeks on Friday and then still three weeks to go till I can ramp up movement and drive.

I dont drive much at all, but dooo enjoy the choice to pop down to perran and or into truro!!

Grass is growing here and lots of flowers saying hello.

I want to blog on the latest Mother magazine in a day or so. Excellent edition celebrating 50 issues!! How amazing is that.

I can recall in the early days, often feeling that they might run out of sparkle! as many magazines do!

But no !! every edition is fresh, vibrant and oozing with inspiration, information and love sharings and communications.

A bright yellow crocus smiled at me this morning, reminding me of a gift of bulbs sent to me last year! Thanks Jenny!!
Such a joy and there are quite a few wild daffodils out in the hedges now. I have almost missed that very early flush of life expressing. Not really being out walking as such, and when I have - mind intent on the art of walking with crutches!! :(
I was reflecting earlier on the mild temperatures this winter. We have only experienced one day of mild frost!
I have missed the joys of morning sunrises! the piccie above was of a magickal sunrise this time last year.
I sat down at the ocean yesterday and my intent this coming week is to attune more with nature. I havent really grounded with the earth much since I got home either.
Definitly time to tweak a few things back on track and optimal intent.

Whoa. its so windy here. the front door keeps blowing open! and sending everything in the kitchen into twirls! I miss being by the ocean when its like this!

My body is continuing to reattune to 'trusting' the space of our sharing! I feel we are recreating the relationship!!

Tomorrow I am going to have wound check out, and dressing removed.

Considering the 'carvery' indulged in, I havent felt a huge amount of discomfort from the wound - it seems hugely long? but it might be dressing?

I am finding the lack of mobility challanging, more the restriction on bending/moving body forwards more than 90 degrees ( sure there must be some little sign for degrees? but cant see it on keyboard)

Lap top has been a boon, I can work it in living room and the gift of web communication has been so nourishing.

Thanks to all those who have sent meaningful utube links, and clips. Much appreciated.

In the hossie they had a tv! :) and I was utterly shocked at to what is on it nowadays. Appreciated having Wi-fi and laptop as I was able to choose my 'own' watch options.

Why I wonder does anyone bother with tv now. If? there is anything meaningful on box (not often) its on some Iplayer option.

My brief experience of two or three actual programmes that were on box. is that its lengthy, sensorial and excrutiatingly long. At least with the player option I can wind through any dross.

I def feeeeeel more 'me' so guess its onwards and upwards. :) Have a bliss thursday. I will check moon, it is feeling towards a fuller moon - I have sort of lost communion with the temple of nature.

Well my body didnt dance with gregorian calendar. It was sleeping by 10pm!! The portal into 2012 was journeyied through in my dream world! This morning is bathed in the blissfull silence that follows the new year revels. A profound silence and stillness is enshrouding the morning.Think it was Veronika who said that 2012 is not about the end. but about WAKING UP and OPENING HEARTS . Love into 2012 for us all.

Without physio present! it felt a lot more complex getting me into the car passenger seat! Once in, Rog took me down to sea :) I felt a bit insecure about crutches on the beach!! but I did crutch around the duck pond!! I Felt totally exhausted afterwards, came home and slept for an hour! So all early days and trepid ventures.Grateful for Green Juice and Ready made mixed salads from Archie Browns in Truro. Thanks guys. you do know how to make a salad!! Steamed local organic kale from Peter Smiths garden and a liquidised grounding root soup with sweet tatoes, turnip, leeks and pumpkin from Cuscarne Organic Farm. I want to wean myself off the hot buttered toast!! though!! giggle! My 2012 resolves might start a bit later this year :) Its been wonderful to have it so mild as I can just slip on sandals for crutching outside rather than trying to negotiate boots! As for knickers! I have just not even ventured into the complex routine to get em on!! and then I would have to negotiate it all each time I went for a wee! Keep it simple is my plan at present :)Joyous New years eve to all - however you choose to be with the transition. Ps. Got a hand made card from youngest grandson! with drawing of a new leg!! Not sure what he thinks I had done!! but seems like he is of a mind that I have had a new leg grafted :)?Love to all.

Managing with just crutches now rather than walker and I have also been bare foot outside! BUT body is absolutely exhausted and tires easily - I so miss tending my home space with love and joy in ways that I always took for granted! Mind messing with my harmony! I am trusting what 'they' all say!! that all this will pass! hmmmm. I think its new years eve today - yes? I have felt truly blessed and nourished. Finally home after a hip hoppy op! I can sincerely say it has felt to be one of my most difficult life journeys! There are times in my life I have felt overwhelmed with feelings, emotive head stuff, the ups and downs of lifes journey - BUT never have I felt so 'scared' and 'disempowered' as during these last few days. Stepping into such a resonant environment that felt so unfamiliar! has been challanging!! I find it puzzling how I have benefited from such technical and mechanical body fixing knowledge which seems separated from any wholistic awareness of the 'healing' powers and processes of body. Any idealogy that deviates from the allopathic song sheet is perceived almost as dangerous! and to be avoided. I encountered and appreciated devout and vocationally called nurses interwoven with nurses who have purely 'chosen' a career, rather than being 'called' into their gift. I have found my mind brushing up against the reality of a disabled! body! and a neediness of others! and when those 'others' talk of things that feel so alien in my life I have found it more than freaky! I didnt know that I was to get a femural nerve block, which although alleviating pain for much longer (good :) also made my leg feel heavy and like rubber for days! This was something they had not forewarned me about! I was convinced I might have some nerve damage from spinal injection (which was wierd)I was sick for about two days.!I coped with only three morphine doses, which I am sure had much to do with nerve block! and am now pottering on crutches. I heard how run of the mill this op was and how people are up and about really quickly!! Well I must be an absolute whimp when it comes to this sort of stuff. I have 'felt' totally steamrollered. :)I learnt to 'hide' anything that looked remotely herbal and or natural! They came in second day to wash body with some chemical wipes!! like people use to wash floor! luckily I had some natracare wipes.!I asked them to spray cleaners on clothes before they brought them into room, as they made me sneeze! I managed to insist that my window was kept open all the time. Although I couldnt open it for more than three inches. I knew I needed to ground and commune with the earth! soon as I could I found an escape root out onto earth through the conservatory rest room!! I found myself so dependent on others, and not wanting to irritate an annoy them! whilst finding insistent ways of making sure that I didnt get slathered in any unnecessary chemical irritants!! I have been grateful that Rog has been home from Plymouth and been so 'there'. I felt emotionally and irritatingly disturbed when I got home, to encounter how much I couldnt do!! I slept well last night and just about!! to negotiate stairs downwards into the rest of the day.Thankyou all of you - I have so appreciated you xxxxx

I feel strongly about the 'words and phrases' that are common parlance' And the short article by Daily Om. below. touches on this very issue.

"There are many troubling phrases in our language that we use without considering their full meaning simply because they have been accepted into common knowledge. Even as our ideals progress, our language maintains some phrases from our past that no longer serve us, for example: Boys don't cry; good child; boys will be boys; problem child; illegitimate child; and many more. While these phrases may be used without harmful intent, they are inherently negative. Children can be especially sensitive to such phrases, which may stay with them their whole lives, adversely affecting their self-image and wounding their self-esteem. "This is the celebration of the devic level and its role as architect. It is at this moment that I can feel the next natural cycle come together on the devic level and form one balanced, cohesive unit. It is also the moment when I can sense the energies of my cycle as a unit, as well.

For the ceremony, I have a more elaborate setting. This is around Christmastime and to give nature its fair share of the season, I set up what I call a Life Table. Time of year and weather! calling for stillness and listening.

The wind has been active for several days now! nipping at fingers and nose!

All sandals ousted fully till spring time! boots and snuggy afghan socks! scarves, gloves and hats all in use!

My house is always airey - so I indulge in layers (and layers!) to keep warm.

I was at the garage the other day and some guy gets out of his car in white shirt sleeves! and I am thinking!! his car must be heated like a house! Me I am bundled up in my layers!! :)

Love the comfy feel of a stash of wood all dry and ready for winter usage.

We havent done a tree this year. They were so costly and the last couple of years I got rooted ones, but they never seem to flourish - So a lovely crib to celebrate the deeper meaning of this time of season, some lights and thats it. Enjoy the melody of these dark nights.

Many of our elders are making wonderful gifts and when we buy from them we support their minimal incomes. Lets make our money make a difference in the lives of those we love and appreciate.

virgin, virgo, appears on the horizon and that is why it is said that Jesus
is born of a virgin.
Exactly opposite in the heavens appears Pisces and, in the centre, the
magnificient constellation of Orion, the three stars which traditionally
represent the three kings, the magis or wisemen.

Leaving aside the question of whether Jesus was born on December the 25th at
midnight or not, let us go onto the interesting fact that in nature on that
date takes place the birth of the Christ principle,
The light and warmth which will transform the world.

At that time there is also a celebration in heaven the angels sing, the
saints, great masters and initiates unite to pray, glorify God, and honour
the Christ and his birth in the Universe.

What are the masses of people on earth doing at this time? eating and
drinking in bars and nightclubs, feasting in celebration of the birth of
Jesus........ a strange attitude.

The extrodinary thing is that even the most intelligent people find it
normal to celebate christmas that way instead of being conscious of the
importance of the event that takes place only once a year, when nature
carefully prepares herself for the new life.

Mans mind is elsewhere... which is why he receives nothing.
He even loses what he had of the Grace and Love of heaven. what can God give
a person who is insensible to the Divine Currents?

A disciple prepares himself; he knows from Christmas eve, Christ is born in
the world in the form of Light, Warmth and Life, and he prepares the
conditions, he creates the proper conditions for the Divine Child to be born

For the Christ Child to be born, there must be parents, a father and mother: the father, Joseph, is the mind, the spirit; the mother, Mary, is the heart, the soul. When the heart and soul are pure, then the Child is born, not of the mind and spirit, but of the Universal Soul, the Holy Spirit in the form of Fire, or Divine Love... a pure flame that invades and fertilizes the human heart and soul. The soul and heart represent the feminine receptive principle, whereas the mind and spirit represent the masculine principle, and together they prepare the conditions for the Holy Spirit, Universal Soul, or Fire, to take possession of the soul of Mary. That is when the Christ Child is born. But as this birth must take place in all three worlds, the child must also be born on the physical plane. You see, it is much more complex than you imagined.

"Most of us pride ourselves on our self-sufficiency. We like to be responsible for taking care of ourselves and pulling our own weight in the world. This is why it can be so challenging when we find ourselves in a situation in which we have to rely on someone else. This can happen as the result of an illness or an injury, or even in the case of a positive change, such as the arrival of a newborn. At times like these, it is essential that we let go of our feeling that we should be able to do it all by ourselves and accept the help of others.

The first step is accepting the situation fully as it is. Too often we make things worse either by trying to do more than we should or by lapsing into feelings of uselessness. In both cases we run the risk of actually prolonging our dependency. In addition, we miss a valuable opportunity to practice acceptance and humility. The ego resists what is, so when we move into acceptance we move into the deeper realm of the soul. In needing others and allowing them to help us, we experience the full realization that we are not on our own in the world. While this may bring up feelings of vulnerability, a deep feeling of gratitude may also emerge as we open to the experience of being helped. This realization can enable us to be wiser in our service of others when we are called upon to help.

It takes wisdom and strength to surrender to our own helplessness and to accept that we, just like every other human being, have limitations. The gifts of surrender are numerous. We discover humility, gratitude, and a deepening understanding of the human experience that enables us to be that much more compassionate and surrendered in the world."
